10 Super Easy Ways To Save Money – Start Saving Today

There are so many easy ways to save money daily without stressing yourself. Saving money shouldn’t be difficult, and you need to know the ways to do it. So my question to you is: Are you looking for super easy ways to save money? If so, stop searching as you are in the right place. These are creative ways to save money without stressing your self. Some of these are things to make at home to save money.

So today I will be showing you 10 super easy ways to save money.

Cut Down On Cable And Movie Subscription

Are you among the people that subscribe to cable as well as movie subscription services?  Having both services is good and sweet, but have you considered its effect on your money and savings? To save money, you need to get rid of them or at least cut down on them.

There is no need to get cable as well as Netflix, Hulu, and everything. You can either go with one of them or, either way, watch local channels by using a digital antenna. The average monthly cable bill is around $120, and the minimum monthly movie subscription is $8. So, your guess is as good as mine; you can save a lot of money by cutting down on your cable and movie subscription.

Stop Maxing Your Credit Cards

Easy ways to save money

Having credit is one way to get a credit score, and we all need it to build our credit. Using your credit card less will help you save money as you will have to pay less interest. The interest rate on credit cards can be costly, so reducing your credit card will help you save some cash. You can ultimately use the credit card’s interest rates from more investments to bring in more cash.

Cancel Your Gym Membership

As the saying goes, health is wealth, but you don’t want to get healthy by wasting your wealth. There are several ways you can exercise or work out both inside or outside your house without a gym membership. Registering for a gym membership can be very expensive, and if you can get rid of it, I will say go for it.

I personally canceled our gym membership and now work out at the park or my apartment gym. If you don’t use your membership often, you will cancel and use other alternatives like the park or running in your neighborhood.

You can save a lot of money by canceling your gym membership and using alternative methods for the workout. Most people that have a gym membership do not get their money from the membership.

Use Mobile App For Cash Back On Your Purchases

International Money transfer app

There are a lot of mobile apps you can use to get cashback on your purchases. Apps like Ebates, Rakuten, Dosh, Ibotta, and so on. With these mobile apps, you can easily get cash back on your purchases.

Thousands of stores use these apps, including Mary’s, Amazon, Target, Walmart, and much more. This is one of the best ways I save money, and you can do the same as we all love shopping. Read more about the top 5 money savings apps to use in 2020 here.

Buy New And Used Things

When purchasing items like furniture, clothing, and other household items, consider buying mixed stuff. You can buy some used and some new items to save money. Going for all new items can be expensive and won’t allow you to save money. You can use websites like craigslist and apps like offer up to get used items for a lower price. Buying used items once in a while is a great way to save money and save for the future.

Don’t Rush To Buy Things Not On Your Budget

Do you go shopping to spend $100 but end up spending $200? It would be best if you stopped rushing to buy things that are not on your budget.  To save money, you will need to stick to your budget at all times.

If you purchase items due to promotion at a particular time, remember promotion never ends, and they will come again. Always go for what you need and give yourself two weeks to see if you still need the item. Most of the time, I tell you you will not need that item, and in turn, you will save money.

Use A Coffee Maker At Home Rather Than Buying Coffee Outside

Use a coffee Maker

Our mornings aren’t complete or even started without a cup or two to get us going for many of us. Getting coffee every day from a coffee shop like Starbucks can be very expensive, as we all know. According to Businessinsider, the average person spends $3.1 on a cup of coffee every at Starbucks.

So, let’s do the maths; $ 3.18 multiple 5 working days will be $19.8 if you can take once a day.  You can now check how much that will be in a year, and what if it goes on for years? Your guess is as good as mine.

While ordering a smaller size might seem like an easy way to save money, you could save dramatically more by eliminating buying coffee at the coffee shop make your own at home.

    1. I like your tips for the most part, I have to disagree with the gym membership though. Gym membership, even long term, is considerably cheaper than medical bills in the future when it’s even harder to work. I would suggest selling some stuff on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, or any other selling site really. My wife had an Etsy shop that helped us pay bills for a while.

  5. These are some great tips. I’m shocked at how many people still pay over $100 for cable when the cheap streaming services have more than enough TV to watch! I’m always telling my husband to drink his coffee at home as well. It’s so expensive to buy it from a store every day, especially like a specialty drink. Yikes! I need to get better at lowering my credit card debt as well as spending less when I can’t afford something. I don’t always -need- everything I buy. Thanks for the tips!

We do our best to cut back on unnecessary things. We’ve gone YEARS without traditional cable, instead opting for free or cheaper online streaming options. And just in the last year we’ve gotten rid of our landline phone and are now just using our cell phones. All the small savings sure add up!
